PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system which adds information of a return destination of an end device which is not equipped with a FAX transmission/reception function to a content of information which a repeating device having a FAX transmission/reception function transmits to transmit facsimile when a FAX transmission instruction is received from the end device and to provide the repeating device and a facsimile transmission/reception program.SOLUTION: A communication system 5 includes: end devices 2a to 2c which are not equipped with FAX transmission function; and a repeating device 1 which is connected to the end devices 2a to 2c so as to be communicable by a private network 4, includes a FAX transmission/reception function which is connected to external devices 6a and 6b so as to be communicable by a public network 7 and performs FAX transmission/reception via a line of the public network 7 associated with the end devices 2a to 2c, and FAX-transmits image information to which information of the line of the public network 7 associated with the private network 4 is added in accordance with the FAX transmission instruction of the image information received from the end devices 2a to 2c via the private network 4. |
