DISCHARGE ELECTRODE AND STATIC ELIMINATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharge electrode and a static eliminator capable of preventing the discharge amount from fracturing under identical voltage while ensuring the strength thereof.SOLUTION: A discharge electrode 43 comprises: a first part 51 of a predetermined length; a second part 52 which continues to the front of the first part 51 in a longitudinal direction; and a third part 53 which continues to the front of the second part 52 opposite to the first part 51 and which forms a convex outer face 53a as the front face of the discharge electrode 43. The first part 51, the second part 52 and the third part 53 are integrally formed. The first part 51 has a base end which is thicker than the front end thereof. The second part 52 has a cylindrical shape which has a constant thickness from the front end to the base end which is identical to the thickness of the end part of the third part 53 at the second part 52 side.
