PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-treated calcium carbonate filler capable of providing a resin composition which is excellent in dispersibility in blending in a curable resin, for example, excellent in adhesion strength, elongation and warm water adhesion when blended in a sealing material and in which a blended composition has excellent storage stability.SOLUTION: There are provided: a calcium carbonate filler which is calcium carbonate surface-treated by a fatty acid-based organic material containing at least one selected from a fatty acid and a water-soluble salt thereof, in which the specific surface area Sw after the surface treatment, the amount As of a surface treatment agent, the amount Cr of the surface treatment agent left on the calcium carbonate side during an ethanol extraction, the amount Ar of a free fatty acid determined by the ethanol extraction and the ratio Sr of a counter-ion in the free material to amount of the total surface treatment agent of the monovalent fatty acid and the ratio Ar/(Ar+Sr) of the free fatty acid in the free material are specific values; and a curable resin composition obtained by blending the calcium carbonate filler. |
