PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron oxide-protein complex capable of fixing an object without modification treatment or the like of the surface of the iron oxide.SOLUTION: In the iron oxide-protein complex of the present invention, a protein which can be bound to an iron oxide in the presence of 2% sodium dodecyl sulfate under the conditions of heating at 95°C for 5 minutes is fixed to the iron oxide without surface modification.
