PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission circuit that compresses a bit number of data without bifurcating processing according to whether the data is positive or negative.SOLUTION: The data transmission circuit comprises: a same sign sequence detection circuit 11 for receiving a plurality of input pieces of integral data representing a negative number by two's complement, and detecting a sequence number of same sign bits continuous in the same sign as the most significant bit 21 about a bit string corresponding to each input piece of integral data; a minimum value detection circuit 12 for detecting a minimum value n that is a minimum sequence number from the sequence number of each bit string; and a bit conversion circuit 13 for arithmetically shifting each bit string to the right by a bit number obtained by subtracting the minimum value n from a first value, extracting at least significant figures of bits from the least significant bit, and combining them with a bit representation of the minimum value n. |
