PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to execute an inspection with good efficiency by use of at least two types of light sources.SOLUTION: Inspection equipment 18 for a printer 1 inspects a printed surface of a sheet 5 on which printing processing is performed by a printing cylinder 12, and comprises: an inspection cylinder 17 for transporting the sheet 5 after the printing processing; odd-number of transfer cylinders 16 which receive the sheet 5 from the printing cylinder 12 and transfer the sheet 5 to the inspection cylinder 17; an LED light 141 for irradiating the printed surface of the sheet 5 transported by the inspection cylinder 17 with light; a number inspection camera 142 for inspecting the part of the sheet 5 irradiated with visible light from the LED light 141; black lights 151, 152 which irradiate the printed surface of the sheet 5 transported by the inspection cylinder 17 with ultraviolet light of a type different from that of the LED light 141; and a UV printing inspection camera 153 which inspects the part of the sheet 5 irradiated with the ultraviolet light from the black lights 151, 152. |
