PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive power supply which can deal with high load, while keeping insulation between each circuit of a commercial power supply and a game machine.SOLUTION: A power supply device (1, 1') includes two switching elements (3-1, 3-2) connected in series between two output terminals of a rectifier circuit 2 for converting an inputted AC voltage into a DC voltage, a transformer 6 provided so that one of two terminals of any one switching element is connected with one end of a primary winding 61, and the other of two terminals is connected with the other end of the primary winding 61, and a control circuit 4 for turning the two switching elements on alternately based on the output voltage outputted from the secondary winding 62 of the transformer 6. The degree of coupling between the primary winding and secondary winding is set so that current flows to the secondary winding by turning the two switching elements on alternately thereby resonating the primary winding 61. |
