PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system which reduces processing load related to threshold calculation in area extraction processing for calculating a threshold for each pixel for targeted multiple images input within a certain period and extracting an area including variable pixels by using the calculated threshold, and a threshold setting processing program.SOLUTION: The image processing system comprises: an automatic threshold calculation processing section 20 which sequentially inputs images picked up by a camera, calculates an average light intensity and a standard deviation in each pixel for targeted multiple images input in a certain period and sets a threshold to extract the variable pixels of pixels for each of which the standard deviation was calculated by using the calculated standard deviation; and a step blocking setting processing section 30 which divides the entire pixel area into multiple blocks and executes in-block cyclic shift processing of sequentially shifting attention pixels to be threshold calculation objects in each divided block while gradually expanding the size of the block. |
