PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc-type steam trap capable of discharging a fluid in a short time when bimetal lifts up a valve disc to separate the same from inner and outer ring valve seats to open a valve at a low temperature.SOLUTION: A bimetal accommodation recessed portion 12 is formed on an annular groove 8 independently from an outlet passage formed from a part of the annular groove 8 between inner and outer ring valve seats 6, 7, a second outlet passage 16 is formed from the bimetal accommodation recessed portion 12, and the bimetal 13 is disposed in the bimetal accommodation recessed portion 12. At a low temperature, the bimetal 13 lifts up the valve disc 11 to separate the valve disc from the inner and outer ring valve seats 6, 7 to open the valve, so that a fluid is discharged through the outlet passage 10 and the second outlet passage 16, and at a high temperature, the bimetal 13 does not interfere with the valve disc 11. As the bimetal 13 lifts up the valve disc 11 to separate the same from the inner and outer ring valve seats 6, 7 to open the valve, and the fluid is discharged through the outlet passage 10 and the second outlet passage 16 at a low temperature, air binding can be eliminated in a short time. |
