PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a brake disk capable of selecting optimum materials for a rotor and a bracket respectively, capable of achieving downsizing and capable of reducing the number of components, and a brake disk. ! SOLUTION: A disk brake is acquired by a manufacturing method for a disk brake which includes: a rotor processing step S1 for acquiring a rotor which comprises a substantially annular plate material having a center hole and in which a plurality of protrusions protruding toward inside at an opening edge of the center hole are formed; a bracket processing step S2 for acquiring a bracket which comprises a cylindrical member and in which an opening corresponding to the protrusions is formed; and an integration step S4 for integrating the bracket and the rotor by inserting the bracket into the center hole of the rotor acquired in the rotor processing step, and by fitting the protrusions of the rotor to the opening of the bracket. !
