PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw device enabling downsizing in an axial direction without intermittent teeth of a gear. ! SOLUTION: A ball screw device 11 includes: a ball nut 10 having a screw groove on the inner peripheral surface thereof; a screw shaft 22 inserted into the ball nut 10; a plurality of balls interposed between the ball nut 10 and the screw shaft 22; and a piece 40A detachably mounted on an outer peripheral surface 10B of the ball nut 10, and circulating a ball rolling on the screw groove of the ball nut 10. The piece 40A has a key 55 on the external surface thereof. A key groove fitted to the key 55 is formed on the outer peripheral surface 10B of the ball nut 10.
