PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rectangular nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery having a flat wound electrode body, arranged so that the reaction of an additive agent in a nonaqueous electrolyte is stimulated while being overcharged, and improved in the stability during overcharging.SOLUTION: A rectangular nonaqueous electrolytic secondary battery 10 of the invention comprises a flat wound electrode body 14, and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The nonaqueous electrolyte contains an additive agent including 0.5-4 mass% of 1,3-dioxane; and 0.5-4 mass% of at least one aromatic compound selected from a cycloalkyl benzene compound and a compound having a quaternary carbon adjacent to a benzene ring. The flat wound electrode body 14 has an unpressed portion formed thereon, which accounts for 0.1-0.9. |
