Disclosed are a method for processing data source movement, a method for forwarding a packet, and devices thereof which are applied in an information centric network (ICN). The method for processing data source movement comprises: when a target container enters a second container from a first container, registering, in the second container, a route of the target container; when the target container enters the second container from the first container, communicating with a parsing system, so that the parsing system updates an access container of the target container from the first container into the second container; and when the target container moves in the first container, communicating with the first container, so that the route of the target container in the first container is updated. The method for processing data source movement according to the embodiment of the present invention supports data source movement without requiring frequent and complex route update, and does not change a content name of content so as to maintain the sustainability of the content name, thereby enhancing feasibility of ICN architecture and improving user experience. |
