<p>A process for making a high VI lubricating base oil from a blend of (1) a heavy wax derived from pyrolyzing a plastic feed and (2) a lube oil feedstock is disclosed. The process comprises the steps of hydrocracking the blend and dewaxing at least a portion of the hydrocracked stream under hydroisomerization conditions to produce a lubricating base oil.</p> |
