PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom device that can make response contents to a visitor into response contents according to the condition of a resident at home, and in addition, more securely notify the resident that there is a visitor. SOLUTION: Control means 17 obtains information about a terminal in communication from a network connection relay device 89 and determines whether or not there is a network compatible device exchanging information with a network via the network connection relay device 89 when the push button 54 provided on an intercom outdoor unit 39 is pressed. If it has been determined that there is a network compatible device exchanging information and if a dedicated application installed in the network compatible device is active, the control device 17 transmits information on there being a visitor to the active dedicated application.
