PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical ammunition container, capable of reducing burning reaction of ammunition while maintaining the strength of the container. SOLUTION: The cylindrical ammunition container 10 is constituted by jointing a disk-like bottom 12 having a cylindrical portion 12a and a disk-like lid 13 having a cylindrical portion 13a to a cylindrical body 11. The ratio of the breakdown strength of the body 11 to the breakdown strength of either lower one of the bottom 12 and the lid 13 is set to 0.09-0.50. The ratio of the length of the body 11 to the overall length of the cylindrical ammunition container 10 is preferably set to 0.70-0.95. Further, the cylindrical portion 12a of the bottom 12 and the cylindrical portion 13a of the lid 13 are preferably connected to each other through a reinforcing member.
