The processing machine (1) has a workpiece support (3) to receive a to-be-machined workpiece. Two joining units (V1,V2) join a coating material to the to-be-machined workpiece. A conveying device induces a relative movement between the two joining units and the to-be-machined workpiece. A feeding device (5) supplies a coating material. The feeding device and the two joining units move relatively to each other during the machining operation, so that the coating material is supplied to the two joining units with the feeding device. An independent claim is included for a method for processing workpiece made from wood, wood composites or plastic.
