The present invention relates to a food mesh and a method for producing the food mesh for steaming a food, wherein the method comprises: a first step of preparing a fiber made of polyester material; a second step of passing the fiber prepared in the first step through a tank in which silicone which is not harmful to the human body so that the silicone is coated on the fiber prepared in the first step; and a third step of weaving a mesh-type cloth using the fiber coated with silicone through the second step. Accordingly, the sticking of a food when being steamed can be prevented, and the food mesh can be easily washed. In particular, environmental hormone (endocrine-disrupting) substances which can be generated in a food steaming process with high heat and is harmful to the human body are not generated. |
