An apparatus for driving a display, according to the present invention, comprises: multiple look-up tables in which overdrive modulation values at a particular viewing angle are stored; a position counter for extracting position information of pixels for displaying current frame data; and a look-up table selection unit which selects a look-up table according to the pixel position information extracted by the position counter and outputs the overdrive modulation value from the selected look-up table according to the correlation of the current frame data inputted and the previous frame data.
