FIELD: oil and gas industry.SUBSTANCE: in process of experimental works dependency of the average absolute error for reference points is determined on the average absolute error for reference points in the learning sample. The interval of the average absolute error for learning points is found when values of the average absolute error for reference points are comparatively low. In process of the oil well operation sensor readings of a multiphase meter are recorded and calculation of oil moisture content is made within the interval of the average absolute error for learning points when comparatively low values of the average absolute error for reference points are observed.EFFECT: increasing accuracy in measurement of oil moisture content, reducing error in oil moisture measurement during use of a multiphase meter.1 dwg
