FIELD: electricity.SUBSTANCE: invention is related to plug and socket joint (1), which contains a plug connector (6) and socket connector (7) manufactured with interconnected butt ends and equipped with a plug (9) and socket (10). The interconnected butt ends hold a variety of metal current-conducting socket and pin contacts (11, 12). The plug and socket joint includes also adapters (4, 5) manufactured so that the plug and socket connectors (6, 7) can be inserted into them. The adapters are made as interconnected, preferably with potential interlocking by means of latching or screwing. The plug (9) and/or socket (10) contain a terminal block (17, 117) with potential pre-installation of the contacts (11, 12) on it. Upon pre-installation of the contacts (11, 12) the above terminal block may be moved together with contacts at a contact base (21, 121) from the pre-installation position to the final assembly position.EFFECT: designing of universal plug and socket joint which could be easily used with an auxiliary adapter or without it.13 cl, 27 dwg |
