[Class 89(i)] [Also in Group XXII] Relates to screw and washer assemblies of the type in which the screw has a widely spaced quick pitch thread, and consists in the provision of means adjacent the end of the thread to prevent the washer from canting with consequent risk of disengagement. The screw is provided with an annulus of projections 26 that may extend completely round the shank or may form a continuation of the terminal part C, Fig. 8 of the thread.
