PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening/closing body device that has a locking unit allowing easy operation such as putting a string at a position reachable by a hand during opening operation, while not being obstructive when it is not required. SOLUTION: The opening/closing body device comprises: an opening/closing body 17 in which a side part 11 is guided to a guide rail 13 and a lower end becomes a long seat plate 15; a locking device 23 which is provided on the seat plate 15 and unlocks the opening/closing body 17 when an operating tip end 21 of a lever 19 along the seat plate 15 is rotated upward; a strap-like operating member 25 which is supported by the operating tip end 21 of the lever 19; and a strip-like member 27 which is attached along the guide rail 13. The opening/closing body device is configured so that the strap-like operating member 25 and the strip-like member 27 are magnetically attracted by each other. A grasping body 31 is preferably attached to a strap end 29 positioned opposite to the lever 19 of the strap-like operating member 25.
