PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aligning method of works that permits alignment of two works by the use of a simple configuration. SOLUTION: A method of aligning two works while keeping them in parallel to each other comprises a first step of photographing with one camera 3 and storing in memory fastening holes 10 and 11 of a first work 1; a second step of photographing with the camera 3 and recognizing fastening holes 12 and 13 of a second work 2; a third step of so shifting the second work 2 that centers 12a and 13a of the fastening holes 12 and 13 of the second work 2 are positioned on straight lines 16 and 17 passing a field of view center 15 of the camera 3 and centers 10a and 11a of the fastening holes 10 and 11 of the first work 1; and a fourth step of shifting the second work 2 in a state in which the centers 12a and 13a of the fastening holes 12 and 13 of the second work 2 are positioned on the straight lines 16 and 17 to bring the fastening holes 12 and 13 of the second work 2 closer to the fastening holes 10 and 11 of the first work 1.
