An apparatus and a method for manufacturing an organic electroluminescent display device are provided to prevent deflection of a first substrate and a second substrate due to pressure difference by excluding a pressure reduction process. A pressing plate(110) is used for pressing. A bonding plate(120) is fixed to the pressing plate. A plurality of holes is formed on the bonding plate in order to inhale and exhale a gas. An O-ring(121) is arranged in an edge of the bonding plate in order to contact with a first substrate(130a). A mask(150) supports a second substrate(130b). The mask is patterned in a region corresponding to a sealant coated on the edge of the second substrate. A lamp(170) irradiates an ultraviolet ray for hardening the sealant. |
