The coating layer is directly applied to the core. Preferred Composition: The coating layer further comprises sodium silicate (0.1-1 wt.%). Preferred Components: Sodium carbonate (more than 80%) exists in the form of burkeit composition of formula Na 4(SO 4) 1 + n(CO 3) 1 - n (where n is 0-0.5). The weight portion of coating layer is 2-10% of the weight of (I). (I) exhibits an average particle size of 0.2-5 mm, while less than 10 wt.% of (I) exhibits particle size of less than 0.2 mm. #CMT#EXAMPLE : #/CMT# Sodium percarbonate particle with particle size of 0.2 mm was prepared from aqueous hydrogen peroxide and aqueous sodium hydroxide solution, according to fluidized bed granulation procedure described in . A coating solution was prepared according to the procedure described in . The aqueous coating solution (20%) was coated on the sodium percarbonate particle by spraying at 55-60[deg]C, followed by evaporation. |
