<p>A verge trimmer for use on the roadside incorporates a frame 10, a cone shaped rotor 1, a disc 3 for cutting the edge of the verge and a ploughshare 2 to lift spoil to the cone shaped rotor which then lifts the spoil from the roadside and deposits it on an earth bank. The cone shaped rotor may be a fin type rotor. The frame can be fitted a three point linkage for mounting on a tractor. The trimmer may be driven by the tractor PTO or by the tractors oil supply to a hydraulic motor. The trimmer is used to trim sidewalks or roadside verges which are overgrown with grass, weeds and soil.</p> |
