Method of integrating an avionics bay and floor structure for implementing the method

The method involves liberating a space (2) in a floor structure (10), and integrating an avionics bay (3'') in the space in a horizontal position. An upper surface of the bay is directly accessed at a floor level by a protective cover for fulfilling a function of the floor. Forced ventilation of the bay is performed by blowing fresh air that is delivered vertically from a lower wall (320) of the bay and extracted through an upper wall after a thermic exchange process. A shear load is transferred by reinforcing a structural volume around the space. An independent claim is also included for a floor structure.
