Cutting assembly for an agricultural harvester

The device has an elongated knife (1) including upper and lower cutting blades (2, 3), where an attachment member i.e. pylon (10), is provided for fastening the knife to a harvester. A vibration damper (7) is arranged between the knife and the attachment member, where the knife and the vibration damper are formed as a one-piece structure. The vibration damper comprises an elongated hollow section parallel to the knife, where the hollow section comprises polygonal, oval, C-shaped, U-shaped or annular cross-section.
