<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus for driving vehicle wheels including a fixed housing (3) and a differential unit, wherein a housing inner chamber (2) of the housing is partially filled with lubrication liquid; a driving shaft (1) which is driven to rotate is inserted into the inner chamber; the driving shaft supports a driving gear (4) at an end protruding toward the housing inner chamber (2); the differential unit supported in the housing (3) to be rotated is driven so as to be rotated by the driving gear (4), and includes a crown wheel (5) with a differential housing (7); a plurality of differential gears (13) of the differential unit (6) are driven so as to be rotated by the differential housing; the driving gears (14) are driven so as to be rotated by the differential gears; and the driving gears are connected to the driving shaft for driving the vehicle wheels. The differential unit (6) is surrounded by a shielding housing in the housing inner chamber (2); and the housing inner chamber (2) is connected to a shielding housing inner chamber (29) by one or multiple throttle openings in an area of the lubrication liquid in the housing inner chamber(2).</p> |
