The device (1) has a latch (5) that is adopted to occupy an unlocking position and a locking position (21). A strip (2) has two strip parts (8, 9) that are mobile with respect to each other in a defined path, where the strip part (8) is slidingly mounted above the strip part (9). The strip has a pushing unit (20) pushing the latch form the locking position to the unlocking position under impulsion of a relative displacement of the part (8) with respect to the part (9). The latch is mounted on a lateral extremity edge (16) of the part (9). An independent claim is also included for a closing system comprising a guiding lateral channels.
