The present invention relating to an anti-drop unit of an overhead hoist transport device comprises a base plate with one pair of linear guide slots which are spaced from each other; a cam guide on the upper side of the base plate with a slope type guide slot; a cam which is inserted into the linear guide slots and the slope type guide slot; a scooper on the lower side of the base plate, which is connected by one pair of elastic connecting members to be transported by being tied to the cam; and a linear transporting apparatus on the upper side of the base plate. The linear transporting apparatus transports the cam guide straight in a first direction so that the cam can be transported straight in a second direction which is vertical to the first direction by being restricted at the linear guide slots and the slope type guide slot.
