FIELD: construction.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of construction, in particular, to a self-tapping screw for fixation in an opening of interior door frames. The self-tapping screw from steel with a cone-shaped head with flat or convex splined surface with any of the available slots, designed for fixation of jambs of interior door frames in the opening on heads of self-tapping screws screwed into the end of the opening with the help of plates, having a tetrahedral or a hexahedral "skirt" arranged behind the head on the self-tapping screw rod for screwing or unscrewing of the self-tapping screw at the "skirt" aside with a wrench, behind which there is thread rolled towards a sharpened tip on the self-tapping screw rod, at the same time the head of the self-tapping screw is round or has cut faces in the form of a hexahedron.EFFECT: invention makes it possible under conditions, when there is no access of a tool to a self-tapping screw head, to screw or unscrew the self-tapping screw at the "skirt" with a wrench aside.7 dwg |
