FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: method provides debridement of pyoinflammatory area and stabilisation of hip joint by means of external fixation apparatus. If the pyoinflammatory process involves only soft tissues, the suppurative focus is sanitated without endoprosthesis removal; if the pyoinflammatory process involves soft tissues and bones with no prominent features of bone tissue destruction, the endoprosthesis is temporary removed and replaced by an articulating spacer with antibacterial preparations and recurrent endoprosthetic replacement; if the pyoinflammatory process involves soft tissues and bones with prominent features of bone tissue destruction, a neoarthrosis is formed with extremity length recovery.EFFECT: enabled preservation of the endoprosthesis and creating the conditions for recurrent endoprosthetic replacement, recovering the extremity length in cases of the neoarthrosis formation in treating the patients with a paraprosthetic hip joint infection.3 dwg
