The cap has an insert inside a metal shell, and another insert in form of sleeve comprising cylindrical portions. One of the portions is provided with a screw thread that complements of the former insert on an outer wall such that the inserts form an assembly secured by screwing and located inside the shell. Another portion is provided with an axial immobilization unit to collaborate with a continuous annular flange of a glassware rim and with an axial abutment unit to collaborate with an internal annular flange of skirt such that the inserts screwed together are trapped inside the shell. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a glassware rim occupying a top of a neck of a bottle and accommodating a composite cap (2) a method for capping a bottle that is used for staggered consumption of drinks such as alcoholic drinks e.g. wines, aperitifs, liqueurs and alcohols. |
