FIELD: personal use articles.SUBSTANCE: furniture transformation mechanism contains pivotal joints, a fixture and a securing bar and includes shaping units, the first of them is intended for connection and transformation of the foot and the middle sections while the second one is intended for connection and transformation of the middle and the head sections. The first shaping unit includes a U-shaped bracket, one branch whereof if pivotally connected to the central part of the securing bar that is rigidly attached to the middle section base while the other branch is rigidly attached to the upper part of the of the leg section base. A tail piece and a fixture are respectively pivotally attached to one and the other ends of the securing bar; the second shaping unit is designed in the form of a connective bar consisting of two unequally sized parts; the minor part is rigidly attached to the middle section base at a spacing from the section edge while the major part has one end rigidly attached to the to the head section base, the other end pivotally connected to the minor part of the connective bar.EFFECT: increased comfort of upholstered furniture operation, reduction of overall dimensions in the assembled state, design simplification and increase of reliability.5 cl, 13 dwg |
