The present invention relates to a cooling apparatus for a material, which includes cooling water spraying devices which spray cooling water to a material; pivot buckets that are installed on both sides of the cooling water spraying device, have ends that are inserted into a cooling water spray path by pivoting, and divert the cooling water, flowing toward the material, to an outer side of the material; and a pivot device which increases and decreases the distance between the pivot buckets while pivoting the pivot buckets. |
