A method comprising flowing a VOC-containing latex along a first surface of a membrane, wherein the latex has a solids content in the range of from 20 to 65 weight percent, and concomitantly flowing a gas along a second surface opposing the first surface of the membrane, wherein the volatile organic compound passes through the membrane and into the flowing gas, thereby reducing the concentration of the volatile organic compound in the latex. |
