A method for stimulation of shifts in fragments of seismo-active breaks of depressive zone of water reservoir wherein to perform relief of tectonic stresses intrinsic resources of natural-anthropogenic system “depression zone of water reservoir” are used, such as retaining structure and spillover and water reservoir, wherein for resonance excitation of caused by effect of seiches micro-seismic vibrations with microseisms of other origin a seiche wave formed as in-phase with decaying seiches is excited.
