The present invention relates to a jig to install a speedometer sensor of a railway vehicle capable of easily and swiftly determining an installation spot of a speedometer sensor installed close to a measuring wheel prepared on the wheels and axles of a railway vehicle, and a method to install a speedometer sensor using the same. According to the present invention regarding to the different shapes of the jug boxes and an installation spot of a speedometer sensor in accordance with the different shapes of the jug boxes between the locations of the bumps on a magnetic wheel and the end portions of the jug boxes used as the comparative criteria; the installation spot of the speedometer sensor can be determined. Thereby, installation of the speedometer sensor is easy, while preventing damages to the speedometer and increasing the reliability of the measured values. |
