According to a performance enhanced high temperature generator for an absorption type water cooler/heater, the generator includes an inner shell coupled to a side of a burner and having a combustion chamber therein; an outer shell to enclose the inner shell and having a solution vessel to store a solution introduced through an inlet; a first heat exchange member provided on an outer circumference of the inner shell to allow a first heat exchange between a combustion gas combusted in the combustion chamber and the solution stored in the solution vessel; an exhaust line communicated with the other outer circumference of the inner vessel and bent to be coupled to the upper part of the outer shell while being extended to one side of the inner shell; and a second heat exchange member provided on the upper outer circumference of the outer shell while protruding into an inner part of the exhaust line to perform a second heat exchange between an exhaust gas flowing through the exhaust line and the solution stored in the solution chamber. The present invention provides a performance enhanced high temperature generator for an absorption type water cooler/heater capable of increasing a heat transfer area as well as enhancing performance by increasing the efficiency of heat exchange of the solution by the first heat exchange member performing a first heat exchange between a combustion gas combusted in the combustion chamber and the solution stored in the solution vessel and the second heat exchange member performing the second heat exchange between exhaust gas flowing through the exhaust line and the solution stored in the solution chamber.
