The invention relates to a heat exchanger for a motor vehicle, including: a bundle (3) for exchanging heat between at least a first and a second fluid; a housing (5) for receiving said bundle (3), comprising two opposite ends (25, 27) that project beyond either side of the bundle (3); an inlet collector box (7) and an outlet collector box (9) for the first fluid, said collector boxes (7, 9) being made of a plastic material and each comprising a lug (33) having a groove (35) for accommodating an end (25, 27) of the housing (5) and an adhesive for assembling the bundle (3) to the collector boxes (7, 9) by means of adhesion. The exchanger further includes a metal reinforcement (43) arranged to be in mechanical contact with at least one collector box (7, 9) as well as with the end (25, 27) of the housing (5) that is accommodated in the groove (35) of the collector box (7, 9). |
