The present invention relates to an air conditioning system supporting temperature customization and an operation method thereof. The air conditioning system includes multiple temperature measuring sensors arranged to measure the temperature at multiple areas in a room; an air conditioner which is installed in the room and includes at least two ventilation openings; and a control unit which is arranged on the air conditioner to receive the room temperature values measured by the temperature measuring sensors, and adjust the amount of air discharged by the ventilation openings based on the difference between the pre-set temperature value of the air conditioning system and the received room temperature.
