A magnetic fluid seal with automatic correction of a working gap comprises installed in a body a stacked constant magnet having polar tips, on working surfaces of which circular teeth are made, magnetic liquid between the polar tips and a shaft, linings; the magnets are installed symmetrically between the tip halves. Symmetrically located projections with through holes are made in the body. The stacked magnet comprises a number of similar magnets equally spaced along the circle of magnets. The magnetic fluid seal is made slotted, comprises cut along diameter cover of the body, linings, polar tips, the magnets are installed symmetrically between the tip halves, and with equal amount in each half, symmetrical drillings are made in the halves of the body cover, wherein fingers are installed, the holes in projections are made in symmetrical manner, and bolt connections are installed in the holes. The circular teeth on the working surfaces of polar tips have a W-shape cross section and raised roughness of sides, to magnetic liquid a ferric micron powder is added with intensive stirring prior to set up in sealing. The powder comprises ferric micron-size particles. |
