PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively avoid generation of a belt-like area with different brightness in comparison with that of other parts even when preparation precision of an exposure pattern is improved regarding a pattern phase difference film by a photo-alignment system to be applied to three-dimensional image display by a passive system.SOLUTION: In a pattern phase difference film 1 where a photo-alignment film and a phase difference layer 4 are sequentially provided on a base material 2 by a transparent film material, and which gives phase difference to transmitted light by the phase difference layer 4, first and second areas for giving first and second phase differences to the transmitted light, respectively, are sequentially and alternately formed in the phase difference layer 4, and a boundary between the first and second areas is created with a width of 5 μm or more and 50 μm or less, and formed so as to meander. |
