FUEL SYNTHESIS SYSTEM AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set up a system for efficiently converting electric power derived from natural energy to a carrier more suitable for transportation and storage than hydrogen.SOLUTION: A fuel synthesis system is a system for producing fuel, uses steam and carbon dioxide as raw materials for fuel to be synthesized, and comprises a syngas generating device for producing a syngas composed of hydrogen and carbon monoxide and a fuel synthesis device for synthesizing fuel from the syngas. The syngas generating device is equipped with a solid-oxide type electrolytic device for electrically reducing the steam and carbon dioxide, and a mechanism that is branched from a pipe for supplying the syngas to the fuel synthesis device from the syngas generating device and serves to recycle part of the generated syngas to the inlet of the syngas generating device at an arbitrary rate and rate. The fuel synthesis device synthesizes fuel of alcohol, ether or hydrocarbons using the syngas generated in the syngas generating device.
