PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-mounted display device enabling a user to visualize an image representing a position of a specific object.SOLUTION: A transmission type head-mounted display device includes: an image display section that generates an image and enables a user to visualize the generated image in a state where the head-mounted display device is mounted on the user's head; a position specification section that specifies an object position that is a position of the specific object with regards to the image display section; and a control section that, on the basis of the object position specified by the position specification section, generates an object position display image representing an object position with regard to the image display section, and sets a position of an object position display image in an image generation area that is an area where the image display section generates an image. |
