PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a teller machine to manage a cash balance in a cash management device connected to the teller machine and distinguish the cash balance in the cash management device from a balance on hand in a store excluding that cash balance for management.SOLUTION: In a cash processing system, multiple cash processors connected to respective cash management devices transmit and receive information among one another to perform cash balance tabulation processing. Each cash processor has in-processor cash balance management means for managing an in-processor cash balance and on-hand balance management means for managing a balance on hand by distinguishing a cash management device balance in the cash management device connected to the cash processor from a balance on hand excluding the cash management device balance. The cash processor tallying requests other cash processors for managed balance information, and each of the other cash processors returns managed balance information including an in-processor balance in the own processor, a corresponding cash management device balance and a balance on hand excluding them to the request source. The cash processor tallying performs balance totalizing processing on the basis of the managed balance information from other cash processors. |
