FLEXIBLE ORGANIC LIGHT EMITTING DISPLAY DEVICE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A flexible organic light emitting display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. A display unit is formed on a display area of a flexible substrate of the flexible organic light emitting display device. A plurality of wires which are electrically connected to the display unit is formed on a bending area of the flexible substrate. At least a part of the wires is extended in a slant direction of a boundary between the display and bending areas. An upper insulating layer is formed on the wires and comprises a plurality of upper insulating patterns which are formed according the shape of the each wire. If the wires are extended in the slant direction of a boundary between the display and bending areas and bend the flexible organic light emitting display device, the stress added to the wire can be minimized. Also, if the upper insulating patterns are formed according to the shape of the each wire and bend the flexible organic light emitting display device, the stress added to the upper insulating layer can be minimized. Therefore, a fraction defective of the flexible organic light emitting display device can be reduced by minimizing a crack of the wire which is generated when the flexible organic light emitting display device is bent by applying the wiring structure and the upper insulating layer structure, and a crack of the wire by a crack of the upper insulating layer.
