PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring machine type dresser device which can make cutting work of both a cap tip and a bottom electrode used for an electric resistance spot welding machine.SOLUTION: The boring machine type dresser device comprises a dresser head 1 that has a built-in cutter blade 3 and is rotatable and elevatable and a dresser base 2 provided below the dresser head. The dresser device has a structure in which an electrode holder 7 fitted with an electrode 30 as a cutting target material is attachable/detachable with respect to the dresser base 2. The cutter blade 3 and the electrode holder 7 have specific shapes selected in accordance with the kind and shape of the electrode 30. The electrode holder 7 is constituted of a shank 7a insertable into a hole 2d of the dresser base 2 and a receptacle 7b fittable with the electrode 30. |
